James Rose Salon has reopened with numerous new safety precautions in order ensure the safety and well being of our clients.
We have installed vinyl curtains between every station. Each station now has it’s own air purification system, in addition to UV sanitation in our air conditioning. Additionally, we have added additional time to every appointment to allow us to sanitize your station before and after your appointment.
At the front desk, we now have a plexiglass divider, and have added a contactless payment device to make checking out safer and cleaner. In the restroom, we have installed touchless fixtures.
Masks are mandatory at James Rose Salon and must be worn by clients at all times. Our stylists will also be wearing a mask. We offer disposable masks, free of charge, that you can use to avoid getting hair color on your personal mask. Since your mask must be worn at all times, please be aware that if you bring a drink, you will not be able to drink it unless you are outside. James Rose Salon will not be serving water or tea.
Since we are limited on how many people we can have in the salon, we ask you not to bring any additional guests. If you are accompanying a child to their appointment, we invite you to make use of our new outdoor seating area, where clients can wait for their appointments outside. We no longer supply magazines for our clients, so we recommend bringing a phone or a book for longer appointments.
When you arrive for your appointment, our receptionist or one of our stylists will check you in by providing you with hand sanitizer and reading your temperature with a contactless thermometer. Confirmation emails will include health screening questions. If you are feeling unwell, or have been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms, we kindly ask you to call and reschedule your appointment. James Rose Salon is waving all cancellation fees for the foreseeable future.
As we have always done, all tools, combs, brushes, towels and smocks are cleaned and disinfected after every use. We check our temperatures daily and will never come to work if we are feeling unwell. As anyone who has visited us during flu season knows, we have an ample supply of soap, sanitizers, and disinfectants.
Please call the salon if you have any questions. We will be happy to answer any questions you have to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable during your appointment.
